Berchmans BASH
St. John Berchmans School will hold its annual Berchmans BASH Family Day & Barbecue competition Sunday, September 26, 2010 here on the grounds of Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau.  Festivities for the entire family begin at 10:00 am.   Outdoor games, live entertainment, a fabulous silent auction and an IBCA sanctioned, State Championship Barbecue contest.   Anyone willing to compete as a "professional" is welcome to participate.

Christmas at Coteau
Schools of the Sacred Heart sponsors one of Acadiana's best holiday celebrations each year on the grounds of Sacred Heart.  The Preview Party opens the festivities on Thursday, December 2, 2010 with the best restaurants in the area providing elaborate hors d' oeuvres and cocktails.  You will have first selection from several unique vendors offering antiques, estate jewelry, Christmas accessories, objects d' art, children's apparel and home and garden accessories.
The Holiday Market will open Friday, December 3, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and will include a Gourmet Luncheon, featuring the talents of Chef John Folse, reserved seating available at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  For tickets and additional information please call 337.662.5275.
 

Conge
The Academy of the Sacred Heart will hold its annual Family Congé Sunday, April 3, 2011 on the campus in Grand Coteau.  The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the “Course du Congé”, a 5K race that begins and ends at the Academy grounds. 
Festivities for the entire family begin at 10:00 a.m.  Children’s games and recreation for all ages include a rock climbing wall, an obstacle course, and parachute drop, just to name a few.  The entertainment also includes two food courts and a fabulous silent auction and Live, traditional Cajun music.
A car and truck show featuring antique and classic models will also be on display throughout the day. Professional portraits by Allen Breaux Studios will also be available beginning at 10:00am.  All proceeds benefit the Academy.  The 2nd  Annual Conge Volleyball Tournament at Volley Beach will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011.
